创作背景
1990年，Beyond远赴肯尼亚，并亲眼目睹了非洲人民因为战争和灾荒而遭受的苦难生活。回到中国香港以后，Beyond主唱黄家驹在报纸上读到了曼德拉被困狱中的故事，并由此产生了内心的共鸣。黄家驹认为曼德拉的精神内涵是关于抗争与希望，这与Beyond在香港艰辛打拼的背景不谋而合，于是黄家驹就创作了歌曲《光辉岁月》。
