1、面试前要做好准备

面试之前，大家要对自己的英国留学申请材料熟悉，里面包含的内容，个人陈述的内容，申请的学校专业相关信息等要做到心中有数。在面试前还要对申请的学校做充分了解，像是学校的位置，专业设置，课程有哪些等等。

面试之前也要准备一些英国大学招生官会问道的问题，比如之前曼彻斯特大学的招生官大多会问：Why you choose this subject of our university?

Do you have any relevant experience related to this subject?

2、面试中的注意事项

在面试中要自己主导方向，不要被面试官牵着鼻子走，自己对面试要有个清晰的思路，知道怎么应对面试官的各种问题，在面试官问你的时候也可以向他咨询一些相关学校专业几个方面配套信息，要知道面试是双方面的，让学校了解你同时你也要更了解学校。

面试时最好穿正装，特别是一些视频面试的同学，视频面试时，不要穿的太家居，招生官会觉得你对此次面试不重视，给人留下不好的印象。

个人陈述(以下简称PS)的写作可以说是申请环节中最具挑战的环节之一。凯思教育招生官指出最出彩的个人陈述是个性化的。

什么是个性化?

“个性化”是说要告诉我你的生活。每个人都有与众不同的地方，而我们之所以成为今天的自己，是生活经验积累的结果。一件事对不同人的意义并不相同，影响你最深的那件事可能并不会对另一个人造成同样的影响。

PS的功能

好的个人陈述不仅仅写了做了什么，更包括如何做和为什么做。也就是说，读者不希望你只是讲一个故事(告诉人们发生了些什么)，你还应当表明这件事是如何改变了你或者你的生活，以及你为什么认为这是一件重要的事。招生官们常常通过个人陈述来判断你是否具有自我意识、是否成熟、是否能够为他们的大学社区做出独特的贡献。

PS的重要性

招生官能通过很多材料来了解你的各方面情况，但他们只有通过个人陈述才能知道你的生活和对你来说意义重大的事物。每所大学都希望它们的新生群体是活生生有个性的学生，而不是一群考试机器。学校希望学生们能够融洽生活、互相帮助、互相激励，并成为成熟的学生社区。

PS要与众不同

要写出个性化的个人陈述，最有挑战的是要与众不同。想要与众不同有很多方法：

1、比如不要去选六个Common Application写作题目的第一个，因为这个题目选的人最多。其他五个题目都可以考虑，而且第六个题目是自由命题。要敢于选择大胆新颖的主题。

2、另一个方法是避免大路化的题材，比如怎么在重要比赛的关键时刻得了分赢了比赛、怎样克服了自己害羞腼腆的问题。这些都是很大的成就，但写得人已经太多，不能体现你的独特性了。

认真准备，紧扣题意

想写出好的PS，首先要了解招生官们关注的是什么我推荐大家看哈佛自己出版的《成功申请哈佛的个人陈述50篇》，可以体会到过去学生们写作的题材的广度。你也会发现文章的题材并不总是最重要的，有时候你的写作风格比起题材更能加重你被录取的筹码。但记住永远不要写“为什么我有理由在海外留学”。招生官对于你为什么认为自己应该被他们的学校录取不感兴趣。

严格按照题目写作

最后也是最重要的一步，是严格针对你的题目来写。我见过许多写得非常好的文章，但它们都没有严格按照题目来写。写PS之前，一定要反复阅读题目，如果不确定题目想要你表达什么，就去问你的升学指导老师。

个人陈述虽然不容易写，但等你成功完成之后也会获益良多。进入大学之后你的PS题目会成为你和同学之间的一个大话题，而且会在讨论中相互学习。

关键词一：专业选择

“你为什么会选择这个专业? ”这是申请国外大学硕士学位的学生常被问到的问题，

面试官以此考察学生对专业的了解，还会让学生介绍自己曾经做过的相关研究。“你是否从事过与申请专业相关的工作?”比如申请工程管理，面试官会问你是否有过工程管理方面的学历、工作经验。这两个问题几乎每个面试都必定会问到。还有诸如“你会往什么专业方向发展?”“你的成绩如何、学分积点多少? ”学校会关注学生的学习成绩，根据学习成绩给学生一个申请建议，比如哪类课程成绩欠佳、提醒学生要加强学习。这也告诫在校的大学生：如果以后想在某个专业继续深造，在学校的成绩一定要考好。

关键词二：性格兴趣

中学的`面试与大学不同，更注意考察学生的学习目标和个人性格。

“你喜欢自然科学还是社会科学? ”“长大想做什么工作? ”面试官常通过诸如此类的问题，了解学生适合做技术工作、创意工作还是公关交际工作，性格是内向害羞还是外向活泼。因为对于中学生而言，选择符合自己兴趣和个性的发展方向是至关重要的，所以学校面试也会注重个性的考察。

关键词三：转专业

一个本科学中文的学生，想申请法律专业硕士，面试时应怎么打动面试官?

其实，国外的法律硕士是不需要专业背景的，但是学生的学习目的却往往会成为申请成功与否的关键。“你为什么转专业? ”毫无理由、仅仅因为兴趣就想转专业，对面试官来说往往缺乏说服力。所以申请者千万不要只说“因为我热爱法律这个专业”，而应尽量从自己的经历、个性化的理由入手，比如某个学法律的人给自己的影响、某个案件促使自己想维护社会公正，等等。

关键词四：应变能力

MBA的面试是各类面试中难度最大的。面试官会营造一种很大压力的氛围，观察应答者的反应。除了经营管理知识，有时还会问一些历史、哲学、军事、时政方面的问题。

曾有学生申请管理类专业，被面试官问到对“安然破产”的看法。还有诸如“微软的操作系统软件常被攻击，公司在信息安全方面应如何加强? ”这类问题。不过问的问题大部分是主观题，不会有唯一正确答案，因此学生只要逻辑严密能够自圆其说即可。
