首先，消除学生作文的心理障碍。教师在设计写作任务以及活动的安排时，都要从学生学的实际出发，依据学生的能力，提出不同的要求，关注和尊重每位学生，保护他们的自信心，使学生保持良好的情感状态。

第三，培训学生改写或复述课文。假如写出的英语作文符合英语文句的表达习惯，文理通顺，语言正确得当，条理清楚，写作的情绪就会高涨，而改写和复述是很好的写作练习。在练习初中生改写课文时主要采用改写人称，引导学生把对话改写成短文或回纳课文要点进行。例如我在教学八年级下册Unit 4,He said I was hard
working.Secting A ,1c ,要求学生把“soap opera”中的人物对话改写成短文然后在班上进行交流，活动中，学生个个聚精会神，聆听别人的`描述，并进行判定是否正确，对不正确的地方抢着进行更正和补充。
练习学生复述课文，教师可以根据阅读文章设计一些题目，让学生回答，然后让他们添加一些关联词，将答案串起来，构成一篇小短文。例如：八年级英语 Unit 9 Section A 3a “Come to the Hilltop Language

第四，对值日生报告常抓不懈。天天上课前5分钟为值日生报告时间，我要求值日生在汇报的前一天，精心预备好汇报内容，给老师批阅，内容自定，（最好是正在学习的本单元内容）。做报告时其他学生认真听好，可以根据其报告内容进行提问，这一活动基于学生个人爱好，自身生活经验和认知水平，既可以展示学生语言运用能力，又能增进学生间的相互了解，就是基础较差的学生，也可以在老师的特别辅导下写出一篇象样的作文来。，保护了基础较差的学生的写作热情和积极性，还能减轻老师批改作文的负担。
第五，注重作文的批改和评价。
（1）个别辅导式的面批。对于基础较差的学生来说，面批的效果很明显，这样可以和学生进行交流和指导，以便指出作文的错误和修改方案。体现了因材施教的原则，保护了学生写作的积极性。
（2）当堂批改典型错误文章。教师精心挑选学生习作中的典型错误，集中成一篇“错误百出”的文章在课堂上呈现给学生，并由师生共同修改。学生对于批改这样一篇集中了错误共性的文章很感爱好，而出现错误的同学，也不觉得丢面子，还可以学会接受别人的评价，学会细心认真，意识到自己学习过程中存在的题目，明确努力的方向。
（3）课堂展示佳句。作为教师更应该以欣赏的眼光看待学生的作文，认真摘录习作中的佳句，并注明作者，通过课堂展示，使这些写作佳句的学生获得成就感，从而激励他们在以后的写作中，积极尝试创新，也能使其他学生从中鉴戒，取长补短。

二、审题列提纲，注意理清文章的脉络。
在英语四级考试中，审题是核心。一般在四级考试中，作文都给出了简短的中文提纲，写作时一定要按提纲的要求写，提纲叫怎么写，就怎么写。我们要把提纲看 成是几个简答题，一个题目用一个段落来回答，这样，作文就会段落清楚，有明显的开头、主体和结论部分。写的过程中也不会为分段大伤脑筋，更不会像记流水帐 一样一段到底，从而给阅卷老师留下很好的印象。同时在文章写作过程中，一定要学会使用一些句子之间，以及引起和结束文章时候的连接词，这样可以使文章更自 然、流畅。
