Campus, which is of course one part of the project, plays an essential role in the society. If we want to build a harmonious society, first we should build a harmonious campus, and get rid of those problems.

To a harmonious school, the surrounding is very important. On our campus, coconut trees growed line on the road. The green grass is the always fine spring day. The various flowers and trees are the beautiful scenery, the green outside the classroom show its grave to the students. When the students are walking around the campus, their bodies and minds are pleasant.

If we think of the harmonious campus as a tree, then the harmonious environment is the leaves of the tree. The good human relation of campus is the root.

Only the campus with good human relationships can be called a harmonious campus.

A harmonious campus has a harmonious relationship between teachers and students. Teacher, which is the person who teaches you knowledge, should be respect by us. We should cherish teachers' pays, respect their works. Thus we can create a harmonious study atmosphere.

A harmonious campus also needs a good relationship among students. We should help those who have problems, and get along with them. Thus to create a harmonious social relationship.

篇4:浅谈大学英语口语教学策略

听、说、读、写是在大学英语教学的四个环节。而“听”是许多大学生感到比较困难的一个环节,它成为了制约大学英语学习的一个主要方面,这是因为传统教学和考试比较测重阅读的方式。然而,随着全球经济一体化趋势,国际间的交流日趋频繁,我国对人才英语口语方面的学习日趋重视,各高校也纷纷进行口语教学改革。本文针对大学生普遍口语薄弱的主要问题,从心理障碍、口语教材、语言环境、教学模式等多方面对大学英语口语教学进行了分析, 并在此基础上对大学生英语口语学习提出一些建议。

一、制约大学生英语口语能力提高的因素

(一)学生的不良心理的影响

语言学告诉我们,人类具有一种本能的语言偏见,只习惯于使用和接触母语的语言系统,而不习惯于使用和接触其它语言系统,包括其本族语的其它方言在内。从心理学角度看即不能产生移情作用。这种情况多出现在很少接触外界语言与文化的人身上。一些性格内向的学生,性格胆小拘谨,情绪和心理都比较敏感,学习英语时,常常担心自己说不好,担心自己出错和被同学嘲笑,因此,这些学生不常开口练习。有外语教学专家指出,情感对外语学习至少与认知技能同等重要,甚至更重要些。胆怯的心理情绪阻碍了大学生英语口语的学习与提高。教师是学生学习的促进者,教师从学生的立场出发,与学生交流学习体会,放低姿态,缩短教师与学生之间的距离。除此之外,教师可通过适当调整口语教学的难度与速度,安排一些学生熟悉的、感兴趣的内容,让学生在学习中产生愉悦的情绪和学习的成就感,把开口说英语转为一项有趣的事情,让学生们爱上说英语,培养起学生对于英语的主动性和积极性,为英语口语的学习创造前期条件。

(二)脱离学生生活的口语教材

在片面强调学习地道的英语的理论指导下,目前大学英语的口语教材所编排的学习内容与学生的现实生活脱节,过于异化和抽象化,词汇和语言内容的呈现缺乏系统和层次性,致使学生在学习中无法与自己的生活联系,更无从用以表达自己的观点,因此,学生感到教学内容死板,无趣,有压力,在心理上产生厌恶。据称,许多大学教师在对自己的学生进行科研调查中发现:一半以上学生认为是教材无趣,枯燥无味、学生不乐意学。因此,大学英语口语教材的选择对于提高教学水平有着十分重要的意义,在选择教材上应该符合“以人为本,贴合时代”的要求、“以交际为目的,追求真实””“能够贴近学生现实生活,让学生能用来表达自己的思想和观点,表述自己的生活”很重要,英语口语教学的目标就是如此,而不是“模仿英国人用英语表述英国人的`观点和生活”.好的口语教材便如同一把钥匙,有了合适的钥匙,教师便更容易引导学生走进英语口语学习的大门里。

(三) 缺乏英语语言环境

大学生普遍认为,中国学生能接触英语口语或者能有机会练习口语的机会不多,充其量就在课堂上能接触到一些口语,其他时候几乎都不会开口说英语。而英语课的课时安排很少会专门涉及口语课,这些原因,导致了缺乏日常的英语语言环境,使得大学生很难提高英语口语水平。大学生认为教师采用 “以学生为中心”的教学模式,给学生模拟一个宽松、逼真的语言环境是提高大学生英语口语的好方法。认知语言学认为,语言使用活动是一个实际的语言使用行为,无论是语言表达式的选择、语言资源的利用、还是语言资源的记忆、规划、问题求解能力、百科知识以及对社会、文化和话语语境的把握,都是由语言使用者控制的。也就是说,学好英语的口语主要因素是学生们自己。教师应该组织学生认真的学习语言学理论,使学生正确的理解语言和语言能力的本质,理解语言内容,认知语言现象背后的语言规律,学会系统的、分层的,与现实生后相联系的英语学习方式。语言能力是与社会、文化、心理、交际、功能相互作用。这意味着,大学生的英语口语的学习要以具体的语言项目为基础,具有社会文化特征,语言项目之间形成一定的结构关系,语言下面是逐个习得的,这些语言显目来源与他们自己的生活,而不是老师安排的生活语言环境。

(四)大学英语口语的教学模式

由于英语口头表达测试只使用与学生报考外语专业口试,一般不列入每学年的考试范围内容。因此,不少学生和教师不把它作为学习重点,所以口语学习常常被忽视。上大学后,学生们学习英语的目标就是要过四、六级,忽视英语口语学习自不必说,另外,高校的扩招造成了教师与学生的畸形比例,根据全国大学英语教学指导委员会的统计,目前英语教师和学生之比已达到1:130。由于学生数量多,有的学校甚至200~300 人一个班上大课。这样的大班,只能是老师讲讲语法、翻译,再讲讲课文和笔头练习,教授口语是很难的。 二、大学英语口语教学的策略

针对上述制约大学生英语口语发展的原因,为提高大学生英语口语能力,特提出如下一些大学英语口语教学的策略。

(一)鼓励学生大胆说英语

教师拉近与学生的距离,把学生看成自己的朋友和合作伙伴,真诚的与每一个学生交流。在教学中,积极肯定学生的学习态度和进步,给予学生厚望,促进学生学习进步。“期盼理论”认为,教育者的期盼对受教育者学习成功与否产生巨大影响,往往教师的一个眼神、一个手势、一句话都有可能燃起学生心中的希望之火。尤其是那些底子薄的学生,更要给与他们关爱和鼓励。教师对他们的在乎,将让他们克服心理上的障碍,使他们能够大胆的说出来。学生有了信心,交流增多,英语口语的提高不在话下,教学氛围也得到改进。教师认真钻研认知语言学理论,把握学习语言学的规律,充分发挥教师的主导作用,注重学生的主体作用、学生教学互动,激发学生汲取知识、自主学习的热情,英语口语教学定会得到极大促进。

(二)积极引导学生阅读

认知语言学认为,人的语言能力依附于人的一般认知能力,与社会、文化、心理、交际、功能相互作用,语言能力的发展跟一般认知能力的发展有极为密切的联系。因此,引导学生学习英语文化背景知识,一定的背景知识, 无论是文化背景知识还是语言本身的背景知识,可以帮助学生去除中英文化差异造成的理解障碍的。这一点Anderson( 1977)的说法相当精辟,“每一次理解都是个人已有知识的参与” ( 转引自崔雅萍, 20xx:55) 。王华等( 20xx: 31) 表示: “实现每个词语场的具体词语越多,学习者的心理词库和图式便越丰富,口语表达就会‘言之有物、自然流畅、恰当得体’”。

(三)努力营造语用的情景

人类语言并不是一个自治的系统,语言行为是人类认知能力的一种体现,人的语言能力的发展离不开人类自身与外界的互动式体验与感知。认知语言学家认为语言是建立在我们对世界的认知经验基础上的,我们对语言的使用取决于我们对外部事物的感知。因此,教师要从语言习得的规律出发,将英语口语教学内容、形式与学生的实际生活、与英语语言背景有机结合,努力激发学生英语热情,此外,将学生放在一个需要用目的语交际的语境中,培育昂学生对语言形式的得体与否做出判断的能力以及结合语境理解语言形式与意义的能力。积极开展课内、课外活动,电影配音、排演小品剧、翻译演示、会场主持、导游、导购等都会引起学生极大的学习与研究热潮,对于引导学生看英语阅读材料、英语影片、收听VOA,BBC英语广播电台,唱英语歌曲更是平时开展的不可或缺的活动。

(四)采取有效的教学计划和方法

活动开展能否达到预期的效果,除学生感兴趣,勤学苦练之外,还需教师引导学生共同钻研教材,有机的使用教材,科学整合教学资料,将学习内容系统化、层次化,按照认知规律和语言习得规律制定科学的教学计划和教学方式,让学生学有所知,在学习中形成科学的、分层的知识网络,便于实用时快速的提取,改变学生学习英语“看着书会念,放下书不会说”的状况.此外,加强大学英语口语课堂测试,形式多种,以积极肯定为主,及时反馈学习情况,在给予学生有成就感的同时,发现问题以便及时调整,促进教学。
