Participation in social activities will enlarge our social circle and make us make acquaintance with more people. Indeed, the monetary reward from the job can make someone very happy and give them a sense of achievement. With the salary, a young adult can have some disposable income and thus be more financially independent, buy things they like or take a trip somewhere.

In conclusion, a job can provide more happiness than one’s social life since career opportunities provide people a great sense of satisfaction and the monetary incentive associated with jobs can also be an important source of motivation and happiness.

Despite the fact that keeping the food price low and providing affordable housing will lessen the financial burden of the dwellers in the city in a short term, these two practices would hinder the future success of the whole society. To illustrate, the low price of food will definitely decrease the income of food producers, especially the farmers who support their family by selling what they plant and raise. As a result, they are likely to have great difficulty in making their ends meet, thus ending up becoming homeless or jobless. Also, in a long run, increasing housing affordability will put a damper on the citizens’ passion for creating wealth and thus decrease the dynamics of the whole society. Specifically speaking, when the price is so cheap that nearly everyone can afford it with ease, no one will work hard any more.

In a nutshell, I am convinced that the most effective and efficient way to boom a city is to create more job opportunities for the jobless.

Nonetheless, creating work opportunities is not that easy, since companies, either state owned or privately owned, have certain precise requirement for the number of workers according to the types of business they undertake and current situation of the market.

Finally, promoting the food industry benefit more people than affordable housing can do. As we have discussed above, food is needed by everybody and better agricultural conditions make a so great difference that it extends how far a government can go. In contrast, few people need houses, especially in this modernized society, as a direct consequence of building more housing apartments, most individuals already possess a house to live in, where means whether the houses are affordable or not has little or no influence on the overall development of the country.

To sum up, I believe what we eat means more than what we do and where we live. The leaders of all countries should focus more on the improvement of food availability and more and more people will live a happier life.

This does not mean, however, that education is not important. I feel that there is a right time to introduce studying and academia to children, and this time is not when they are very young. It is better to wait until the children are at least five or six year old before trying to get them to study.

1、比较级类题目特点：

比较级的对象只有两个，A大于B，所以写起来比最高级稍微难，因为我们的论证对象少了，文章的篇幅自然不容易写长，也是托福考试中最常考的一类题型。但是比较级的解题技巧一样微妙。

2、写作思路：

这类题目我们可以采用Agree或者Disagree的态度。如果是Agree的话，我们就要着重写A相对于B的优点，每个优点作为段落主题句进行论证就OK。如果是Disagree的话，写作方法就多了。我们可以让步承认A好，转折说明B也好，最后得出的结论是AB同样的好，推翻命题;还可以说B相对于A的优点，再对每个优点进行展开论证;还有一种不太常见的写法就是题目中说A比B好，但是你认为A和B都不好。这个时候你可以先承认B不好，然后再转折说明A也不好。曾经考过这样一道题：It

1、隐藏类题目特点：

隐藏类出题较少，但是难度还是比较大的。所谓的隐藏就是指题目中讲某些名词前面的限定词省略了。比如说：People should

transport.像这样一道题目，我们会发现里面没有明显的绝对词或者比较级的特征，但其实它里面暗藏玄机。

2、写作思路：

我们可以这样理解这道题目：(All) people should pay to use public

transport.也就是说所有人在使用公共交通工具的时候应当付钱。这与现实情况是不符合的吧?我们考虑现实情况中老年人，残疾人和儿童在乘坐公车时是免费的。所以拿到这样的题目，我们应该抓住主要名词，然后看看这些名词能不能进行细分。这道题目中people我们可以分成弱势群体和非弱势群体。先承认非弱势群体在乘坐公交时应该付费，再转折说明弱势群体则应该免费乘坐公交。同时，也可以对public

transport进行分类，比较公交，地铁，火车，飞机等等。但是后一种分类论述就不太容易了，我们不予考虑。

The research analyzed data on 4,182 participants in the U-M Health and Retirement Study, which surveys a representative sample of more than 20,000 older Americans every two years and the final result reveals people who had worked in jobs with greater mental demands were more likely to have better memories before they retired and more likely to have slower declines in memory after retiring than people who had worked in jobs with fewer mental demands. Accordingly, being engaged in a challenging and interesting job will benefit employees’ mental functioning.

For another thing, the more challenging the job is, the higher salaries employees will be paid with. Generally speaking, a challenging job will require employees to master multiple capabilities and techniques and to undertake more responsibilities. Thus, they will be paid with high salaries, making it possible for them to do whatever stirs up their interest. For instance, one of my friends named Jason works as a top software engineer in a renewed IT company in China and he is well paid. Besides, his hobby is photography and travel in foreign countries. On weekends or public holidays he often chooses to take photographs in different places of historic interest and scenic beauty or travel abroad. In the near two years, he has traveled in many countries in Europe and Southeast Asia and take a lot of beautiful pictures. On the other hand, older people prefer to select the relatively boring job with more leisure time. For one thing, boring jobs means that employees have to accomplish the same tasks again and again so that there is less pressure and stress, which is very important to the health of older people. As is common sense, the senior are more susceptible to various diseases such as hypertension and heart attack due to the weakening immune system. Consequently, any additional stress from work may pose a serious threat to their physical well-being. Also, older people are usually those who have got married or even have children, so spending more time accompanying their family members is of great significance. Undoubtedly, the job with more vacation can better satisfy the need of staying longer with their kids or spouse. During the stay, the emotional bond between them will become closer and more intimate.

Judging from what has been discussed above, we can draw the conclusion that it depends on the age group of people whether the interesting job with less vacation is better than the monotonous one with more holiday.
